Smith’s Got Talent – MBA Style

On May 6, 2016, full-time MBA students at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business hosted the sixth annual “Smith’s Got Talent” variety show. Over the years, the show has become a highlight of the spring semester for Smith Terps. Some years there is more talent than others, but everyone always has a great time. The event perfectly showcases the tight-knit community of Smith MBA students at UMD.

Each year, the show strategically falls right after the Duke MBA Games so the Smith team can do an encore presentation of their dance performance. For the fourth year in a row, the Smith team took home first place in the dance competition at the Duke MBA Games. This year’s dance theme was “Smith Parties around the World.” The charity event helped raise more than $13,000 for the Special Olympics and included an auction where Smith students, faculty and administrators donated items and experiences to the highest bidder.

Special thanks to the participants in this year’s Smith’s Got Talent!
