What’s YOUR “Moment of Obligation”?

Cherry Kwunyeun

When students at the Smith School of Business talk about why they became interested in social entrepreneurship, they often use the phrase: “I wanted to do something bigger than myself . . .” For many, this desire grew out of an epiphany, an intuitive moment when they realized they were not an island of one, but part of a much bigger planet. We like to call this a “moment of obligation.”
