Smith Global Study Programs give students a learning experience that will change the way they experience the world forever. From nineteen-year old undergraduates to experienced executive MBAs, students take a journey that will open the gates of understanding and develop a lifelong appreciation for societies and what it takes to do business in a different political, economic, historical and cultural landscape.

The Smith School offers semester abroad programs for those able to fit a four month long immersion into their degree plan, and short-term study abroad options for those with more demanding schedules. Our students have the freedom to choose where they want to go; they can develop their particular expertise and advance an exciting career.

Short-term options cover a wide variety of destinations and topics. Examples include energy policy and the use of solar and nuclear energy sources in Europe, sports marketing and the World Cup in South Africa, and the business aspects of public health, with Costa Rica as the case study. Semester options can be to any AACSB and/or Equis accredited institution in the world.
