Mr. Charles H. LaHaie has been a staff member at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business since 1999. Prior to joining the University, he worked in the Office of Economic Analysis of the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Earlier he was a Financial Analyst at the IBM Corporation. Charles has a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Detroit, an M.S. degree in Computer and Information Sciences from The Ohio State University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Vermont. He also studied as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Finance at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Published works include "Filtering Derivative Security Valuations from Market Prices", with Professor Dilip B. Madan and Professor Robert J. Elliott, in Mathematics of Derivative Securities
