Welcome to the Office of Career Management (OCM) at the Robert H. Smith School of Business! We are proud to provide world-class, end-to-end service by leveraging outstanding and experienced staff, in combination with unique partnerships in key business areas. On-site and virtually, our seasoned career coaches and industry-specialized job search and employer development professionals enable our graduate, undergraduate and alumni populations to maximize their career potential.

The OCM provides career coaching and career education to all Smith students. Career coaches and students are directly aligned with OCM employer development managers who have built employer relationships in applicable functional areas. This focused alignment of student career goals and functional employer expertise offers the best means to identify and translate student and employer skills and needs. Students are put in direct contact with the companies that interest them and employers gain direct access to the best and brightest students focused in their targeted functional areas.

As our part-time MBA, executive MBA, and MS programs continue to grow, we are excited to announce that the OCM offers full access and support to our working professional students. In addition to having more candidates to choose from, this new approach will enable you to fill "just-in-time" and senior-level positions throughout the year from a single source.

What's more, in 2006 we placed 95 percent of our full-time MBAs - the second best placement rate among the top 20 U.S. business ranked by the Financial Times. In 2007 we achieved a strong 92% placement rate. Fantastic results to be sure, but we are far from satisfied.
